Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh's provocative language about Rush Limbaugh Saying Solar And Wind Energy Industries Don't Exist. I am disappointed in The Post's coverage of Rush Limbaugh's comments about college student Sandra Fluke [“President calls student blasted by Rush Limbaugh,” news article, March 3].

That Rush Limbaugh and his imitators, emulators and dittoheads have chosen to make it about Sandra Fluke's sex life, about which they know absolutely nothing, about which they should be making no comments whatsoever.

Advertisers are rushing to the exits of Rush Limbaugh's radio show after customers inundated the Internet with outrage over the conservative commentator's widely criticized "slut" comments about Sandra Fluke.

A new week greeted Rush Limbaugh with four more advertiser defections, for a total of 11, along with a sharp rebuke from former Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

Patricia Heaton

Patricia Heaton is a Hollywood rarity. Patricia Helen Heaton (born March 4, 1958) is an American actress, comedienne, producer and model, best known for portraying Debra Barone on the CBS. Patricia Heaton's rush to support Rush Limbaugh this week shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has closely followed her rise as one of the most successful comedic actresses in Hollywood.

Patricia Heaton apologizes for tweets taking Rush.

"Rush Limbaugh is losing advertisers for his radio show one after the other in the wake of his controversial comments about a Georgetown law student, and now he's lost a prominent advocate on Twitter: Patricia Heaton."

Patricia Heaton proved that she wasn't tough enough to play with the political big dogs when her scathing comments about Georgetown student Sandra Fluke caused such an outrage that she had to.

ABC Family has picked up syndication rights to ABC's Patricia Heaton comedy series The Middle. The female- and youth-skewing cable network will air repeats of the comedy, from Warner Bros. Television, beginning in fall 2013.

Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews Band announces new album, Irvine. Here's a cocktail party tidbit: No act sold more tickets than the Dave Matthews Band did for the period that stretched from 2000 to 2009. That little factoid comes courtesy of Billboard, which notes that the band sold 11.2 million in that span.

You can almost smell it now. Dave Matthews Band have just announced dates for their 2012 tour. Expect fabulous light shows, hours of acoustified funky jams and numerous musical guests, all beginning this summer May 18 in Woodlands. Whitney Houston Cause of Death

Whitney Houston is dead. Singer death on February 11, 2012. Rep Kristen Foster confirmed to Associated Press. No official cause of death. An autopsy was conducted on Whitney Houston's remains in Los Angeles Sunday, but officials said afterward her cause of death remained unknown. Law-enforcement sources told TMZ the 48-year-old, Grammy-winning pop singer had water in her lungs. Maybe that's Whitney Houston Cause of Death.

Whitney Houston, whose soaring voice lifted her to the top of the pop music world but whose personal decline was fueled by decades of drug use, died on Saturday in a Beverly Hills hotel room. She was 48.

Investigators have been working to piece together what killed Whitney Houston as the music industry's biggest names gathered for a Grammy Awards show that at times felt as much like a memorial as a celebration.

Bill Maher

Earlier in the day, the cast of The Five made a fairly convincing case for caring about Bill Maher tweeting gross things about Tim Tebow and his religion over the weekend. Comedian Bill Maher made fun of football player Tim Tebow. Now some are calling for an HBO boycott. We'll let you know what he said.

After Tebow's Denver Broncos lost to the Bills on Saturday, the 'Real Time with Bill Maher' host tweeted: “Wow, Jesus just f----- #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve!

Tebow has been something of a lightning rod because of his faith, but it was Bill Maher, whose HBO show is in the middle of a three-month hiatus, that seemed to find Tebow's loss amusing.

William "Bill" Maher, Jr. is an American stand-up comedian, television host, social critic, political commentator, author and actor.

Lindsay Lohan Playboy Cover

Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover has slipped from its cloak of secrecy. A photo of Lindsay Lohan's Playboy cover surfaced on Wednesday, well ahead of the company's January/February issue release. An image of the alleged January/February issue flooded the Internet Wednesday, a full week before the “Mean Girls” star is scheduled to give a sneak peek on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The leaked cover shows Lindsay Lohan, 25, straddling the back of a red bunny-shaped chair seemingly stark naked beyond her black stilettos.

According to the Daily Mail, the troubled star is in talks to join the UK show Celebrity Big Brother. When combined with her recent Playboy shoot, they make a rather public attempt at relaunching her career.

A rep for the naughty glossy did not immediately return a call seeking comment, but a spokeswoman earlier said fans had to wait until Dec. 15 to get a preview of the Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover and one non-nude image from Lohan’s pictoral.

“The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay,” the star’s publicist Steve Honig said in a recent statement.

Hugh Hefner, Playboy’s robe-clad mogul, said the layout would have a retro theme.

'Emma, I think you're all the way beautiful. Not just pretty, but smart and kind-hearted'

Although her new film isn't getting love from everyone, actress Emma Stone apparently has one devoted admirer: Jim Carrey.

Venus Williams

Three days into the U.S. Open, Venus Williams has withdrawn from the tournament, saying she suffers from pain and fatigue caused by an autoimmune disorder called Sjogren's Syndrome.

The syndrome destroys the glands that produce tears and saliva and can affect the kidneys, lungs and blood vessels. The body mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. Complications -- although rare -- can include kidney failure, lymphoma and pulmonary infection.

Some 4 million Americans are afflicted with the condition, and nine of 10 are women.

"I'm speechless," said 18-time Grand Slam champion Chris Evert. "I thought she was looking really good. I'm disappointed for Venus Williams, and I'm disappointed for the U.S. Open. Venus Williams would have had to be 100 percent healthy to win this match."

The key word is healthy. Venus Williams has been anything but most of the year. Venus Williams has struggled with hip and knee injuries plus a lingering viral illness whose aftereffects may well have caused her to pull out. After beating Vesna Dolonts 6-4, 6-3 in the opening round, Venus Williams was vague, even evasive in describing her illness and the specifics of her preparation for the U.S. Open. Now we know why.

"I enjoyed playing my first match here, and wish I could continue but right now I am unable to," Venus' statement concluded. "I am thankful I finally have a diagnosis and am now focused on getting better and returning to the court soon."

Venus Williams always has been a battler, and there has always been a sense that she enjoys the essence of the sport -- not necessarily all its trappings and rewards

Kim Kardashian Wedding

Just in case you've missed Kim Kardashian Wedding, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially married! Kim Kardashian married her NBA player boyfriend Kris Humphries on Saturday night. Making the night more crowded at that time.

Kim Kardashian has said 'I do' to her basketballer fiancé Kris Humphries in a beautiful sunset ceremony attended by her A-list friends. The couple tied the knot at 6.30pm in a 30-minute service watched by their families, and celebrity guests including Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato.

Kim's spokesperson revealed the bride wore an ivory custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and 'epic' train.

Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill and Nicki Minaj shared several awkward moments during their presentation of the best pop video award at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday. Their conversation focused on Hill's recent weight loss.

Jonah Hill lost  a lot of weight. Enough weight that he could almost get away with wearing a brown leather jacket and tucked in plaid shirt to the VMAs in the middle of a Los Angeles heat wave.

Actor Jonah Hill is still funny, but he's no longer chubby. (Kevin Winter / Getty Images) Anyone seen actor Jonah Hill lately? We did a double-take at the newsstand the other day when we spied the current issue of New York magazine featuring Brad Pitt.

Newly svelte Jonah Hill (almost unrecognizably so) has been formally set to star alongside Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn in Neighborhood Watch, the Akiva Schaffer-directed Fox comedy.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Jonah Hill has joined the cast and that RoseMarie DeWitt was already in it.
The plot? Guys set up a “neighborhood watch” as an excuse to get away from their families for a few hours, then stumble across a plot to destroy the world.

Kreayshawn

Kreayshawn has an affinity for Disney paraphernalia, as we learned in her "Gucci Gucci" video, in which the Oakland-bred MC wears a pink pair of Minnie Mouse ears bought at Disneyland. And at tonight's Video Music Awards, the "Best New Artist" nominee. "Gucci Gucci", a bubblegum-sticky track that's racked up 13 million views on YouTube and become the song of the summer. Bloggers immediately fired off questions.

Last night, Kreayshawn performed at West Hollywood's The Roxy for an intimate crowd. Rap-Up were on hand and caught some footage of the Bay Area-rapper giving a live set of “Rich Wh0res”.  We bet there were fewer than average Prada-clad basic b*tches at The Roxy last night, since they knew they'd be called out during Kreayshawn's viral smash.

On MTV Video Music Awards, Tyler,  bested the breakout pop act, as well as Kreayshawn, of "Gucci Gucci" fame, Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean.
